Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all stays at Legacy Longhorn RV Resort (“Resort”). By checking in, submitting an application, or occupying a site, all guests agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Guests are license holders, not tenants. This Agreement does not create a lease, rental, or landlord–tenant relationship. Guests hold only a temporary, revocable license to occupy an assigned site, which may be revoked at any time for violation of these Terms, failure to pay, or at the sole discretion of Resort management.

1. Guest Status & License

  • Guests are granted a limited license to occupy a designated RV site.
  • This license may be terminated at any time by Resort management, with or without cause.
  • Texas landlord–tenant laws do not apply.

2. Registration & Payment

  • All guests must be registered with the Resort.
  • Full payment must be made in advance of occupancy (weekly or monthly rates as applicable).
  • Stays longer than 90 days require management renewal and approval.
  • Rates and fees are subject to change with notice.
  • Failure to maintain current payment is grounds for immediate termination of occupancy.

3. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Standard check-in time is 2:00 PM; standard check-out time is 12:00 PM.
  • Early check-in or late check-out must be approved in advance and may incur additional charges.
  • Guests must vacate their site by check-out time unless renewed or extended by management.

4. Quiet Hours

  • Quiet hours are 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM daily.
  • During quiet hours, music, televisions, generators, and conversations must be kept at a level that cannot be heard beyond your site.
  • Persistent noise complaints may result in removal from the Resort.

5. Parking

  • Each site includes parking for one RV and up to two passenger vehicles.
  • Additional vehicles must be approved by management and may be subject to extra fees.
  • Parking on grass, roadways, or other sites is prohibited.
  • Unauthorized or improperly parked vehicles may be towed at the owner’s expense.

6. Pets

  • All pets must be registered with the Resort at check-in.
  • Maximum of two (2) pets per site, unless otherwise approved by management.
  • Aggressive breeds or animals with a history of biting are prohibited.
  • Pets must be leashed at all times outside the RV.
  • Guests must clean up after their pets immediately.
  • Excessive barking or disruptive behavior is not permitted.
  • Pet Liability: Guests assume all responsibility and liability for their pets, including interactions with other guests, pets, and Resort staff. Guests release the Resort from any liability for injury, illness, or death of their pet, regardless of cause.

7. Utilities

  • Guests are expected to use utilities responsibly and report any issues immediately.
  • Damage to Resort utilities caused by negligence or misuse will be charged to the guest.
  • Stays exceeding 29 days are sub-metered for electricity and will be billed automatically to the guest’s account.

8. Use of Amenities (Including Golf Simulator)

  • Resort amenities, including the golf simulator, pool, clubhouse, and recreational areas, are provided as a courtesy to guests.
  • Use of all amenities is at the guest’s own risk.
  • Guests must follow posted rules and staff instructions when using amenities.
  • The golf simulator requires advance reservations and is billed at $60 per hour.
  • Damage caused by misuse will be charged to the responsible guest.
  • Resort reserves the right to restrict or deny amenity use for rule violations.

9. Mail & Deliveries

  • The Resort does not accept responsibility for mail, packages, or deliveries.
  • Guests may not use the Resort address as their residential mailing address or for voter registration, driver’s licenses, or other government records.
  • Any mail or packages delivered to the Resort may be returned to sender.

10. Trash & Waste Disposal

  • Guests must place household trash in tied bags and deposit them in designated dumpsters.
  • Dumping of large items such as furniture, appliances, or hazardous materials is prohibited.
  • All sewer connections must be sealed and free from leaks.
  • Improper disposal of gray water, black water, or chemicals is grounds for termination of stay and may result in charges for cleanup or damages.

11. Site Appearance & Alterations

  • Sites must be kept neat and free of clutter.
  • Permanent structures, fencing, porches, storage sheds, and skirting are prohibited unless approved in writing by management.
  • Outdoor items such as furniture, grills, and décor must be in good condition.
  • Guests may not dig, plant, or alter the landscaping.

12. Commercial Use

  • Guests may not conduct any business or commercial activity from their RV or site, including but not limited to:
    • Auto repair or sales
    • Retail sales or storage for resale
    • Short-term rentals or subleasing
  • Violation is grounds for immediate termination.

13. Emergency Procedures

  • Guests must comply with all emergency instructions, including severe weather, fire, or evacuation orders.
  • Guests are responsible for securing their RVs and personal property during weather events.
  • The Resort is not responsible for damage caused by storms, floods, winds, or other natural events.

14. Guest Conduct

  • Disorderly, disruptive, or illegal behavior is prohibited.
  • The use of firearms, fireworks, or explosives is strictly forbidden.
  • Guests may not build structures, decks, porches, or other additions without prior written approval.
  • Subleasing or allowing unregistered guests to occupy a site is prohibited.

15. Liability & Indemnification

  • Guests agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Legacy Longhorn RV Resort, its owners, and staff from any claims, damages, losses, or injuries to persons or property arising from use of the Resort.
  • The Resort is not responsible for theft, loss, or damage to personal property, vehicles, or RVs.
  • Guests assume all risks associated with their stay, including but not limited to:
    • Use of utilities, amenities, and pet ownership
    • Natural conditions on the property, including but not limited to falling tree limbs, weather events, uneven terrain, or wildlife
    • Interaction with or proximity to ranch animals maintained on the property
  • Guests accept full responsibility for securing their own property and for supervising children and pets at all times.

16. Termination of Stay

  • Management may terminate a guest’s license and require immediate departure for:
    • Non-payment of fees
    • Violation of rules or these Terms & Conditions
    • Conduct deemed dangerous, disruptive, or inappropriate
  • No refund will be issued for early removal due to violations.

17. Acknowledgment

By signing below (or clicking “I agree” on an online form), the guest acknowledges they have read, understand, and agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
